Agility Training That Builds Skills and Connections
Right now you’re looking down at Fido there at your feet as you search online for something to keep him busy. He needs exercise!
Agility is more than just exercise, it’s also a mental game and bonding time. With each skill you teach your dog, he grows confidence and looks to you for the next fun activity.
Before you know it, Fido will be soaring over jumps, weaving confidently through poles, and tackling every challenge with excitement.
At Heather’s Dog School, we’ve seen countless agility teams go from overwhelmed and unsure to proud, connected teams — ready to have fun or even compete.
No more wondering if you’re doing it right. We’ll guide you every step of the way.
What People Are Saying…
Meet Heather
I’m a graduate of the Karen Pryor Academy for Animal Training and Behavior (2008) and have spent over 14 years helping families enjoy their dogs by teaching them how to truly listen. From solving everyday challenges like jumping, leash pulling, and recall, to running fun (and even competitive) agility classes, I love showing both dogs and their people how training can strengthen their bond.
I believe being a great trainer also means being a great teacher. Alongside my dog‑training education, I’m certified through the University at Buffalo’s Teacher Certification Program and have years of experience teaching all age groups. I’m a lifelong learner, always studying with top trainers to bring fresh techniques to my students. When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me adventuring with my husband and our four dogs—hiking, camping, canoeing, and competing in agility and sheep herding.
Our Process
Have a look at our programs and see all the great things we can accomplish together.
Go to the "Contact Us" page, get in touch and tell us all about your dog.
We'll plan a time to talk so you can tell us even more, we can get to know you and give you details about our programs so you can choose the one you feel fits you best.

Imagine the joy of watching your dog succeed while feeling completely in sync as a team. That’s the kind of happiness and connection we see in our students every day, and it’s exactly what we want for you.
